It pains me to admit it sometimes, but I do seriously covet Martha Stewart and the like magazines around fall. They do sometimes have absolutely stunning ideas, like this inspiration for an outdoor Halloween party in Country Living. Isn't that path just magical?
I love the vaguely rustic, vintage feel of it. Vintage Halloween, in fact, is coming back with a vengeance, and with good reason too. Have you ever really looked at vintage Halloween decor? That stuff is damn scary.

I've said it before and I'll say it again -- don't be fooled by the name, Country Living magazine is actually quite hip. Discovered my mom's stash a few months ago. Good stuff in there.
ReplyDeleteBetter Homes and Gardens, and Ladies HOme Journal also often have GREAT ideas for Halloween decorating (and none of them are the gory kind!). I love the creativity of Halloween, and I feel like the gross-scary stuff actually takes away from it! Definitely great pics here!
